Intro to Brush Calligraphy & Introduction to Pointed Pen

In-person pointed pen, modern calligraphy & brush lettering workshops are back. In the introductory workshop you will learn the basic strokes of calligraphy as well as how to put the strokes together to make beautiful letters and words.

The way I teach these skills makes it so easy to learn. No lettering experience necessary and you don’t have to have good handwriting. This two hour workshop is perfect for beginners!

Calligraphy is a beautiful artform and a wonderful way to relax and calm anxiety.

All materials provided to take home and continue on your lettering journey.

All ages and lefties welcome! $85 per person.

Chalkboard Lettering

Have you always wanted to know how to create a beautiful chalkboard design but didn’t know where to start? Join me to create your very own Pinterest worthy piece!

In this hands-on class, you will learn how to create a unique hand-lettered design on a framed 17x23” chalkboard.
We’ll start by reviewing some basic tools and techniques before diving in to create your very own chalkboard art using design templates andy favorite chalk markers.

No previous experience or lettering skills are required- you’ll learn all of the tricks and techniques of chalkboard artists needed to produce a beautifully lettered design ready to hang on your wall.

All necessary materials will be provided for you to take home! $85 per person.

Watercolor Wonders

(Intro to Watercolor Lettering and Fun Florals)

Join me for this fun, relaxing class to explore the wonder of watercolors.

We will start off with some basic watercolor techniques and try out some colorful lettering using brushes (no lettering experience necessary).

We then use those techniques to create some fun watercolor cards, fit for gifting. Leaves and florals will be our focus among other things.

This class is for beginners who wish to explore the fun and relaxing hobby of watercolor. All ages welcome! $85 includes materials.

Private Classes Available

Private one-on-one and group classes in person and over Zoom.

Book a class for you and a friend or get a group together. Great for team building activities, a brunch or wine night or a holiday get-together. If you’re local, I can come to your home or office AND if you book a group of six or more, the hostess gets their spot at no charge!

I supply all the materials for the class for everyone to take home and keep practicing. (Inquire about Zoom supplies)

Ornaments & Envelopes

Do you want to learn how to do lettering on holiday ornaments? Do you want to learn some fun ways to make your holiday addressing and gift tags extra special? Come to my holiday workshop and learn!

Each person will take home 4 ornaments along with some a new pen and some new skills.

No lettering experience necessary, as we will be using faux calligraphy!

All ages welcome,. Great for teens to learn how to make handmade gifts. $85 includes materials.
